Tyson Fury is never a man shy of making a statement or two and the former unified heavyweight world champion has been at it again this afternoon.
In Belfast to promote his fight against Francesco Pianeta on Saturday night, Fury was quick to send out a message to his rivals in the division with a series of outbursts at the pre fight press conference.
The whole boxing world is waiting for Fury to fight Deontay wilder in a potential bout in November before taking on Anthony Joshua at some point in 2019 but Fury clearly believes neither man is a match for him.
"I think i'm the greatest heavyweight ever to be born......Deontay Wilder or Anthony Joshua, all of the bums out there, to me they are just bums."
Tyson Fury is thought to have already agreed to fight Wilder later this year with the WBC Champion set to be ringside in Belfast this coming weekend to build up the contest, assuming the Brit comes through the test against the Italian.
Fury remains unbeaten in his career but is facing just his second fight since beating Wladimir Klitchko back in November 2015 as he bids to regain what he rightfully believes is his.
The self styled "Gypsy King" has been telling anyone who will listen that he is coming to rip up the heavyweight division once again and he is certainly impressing with his trash talk outside of the ropes.
His comeback fight against Sefer Seferi was little more than an exhibition against a crusierweight but this weekend should tell us more about the level of fury as he faces Pianeta. The Italian is comfortably past his best and is coming off a loss but should at least be able to offer the lineal champion some sort of test as he looks to put himself in position for a world title shot.
Fury can certainly talk the talk as he continues his verbal sparring with the two world champions but now it is time for him to walk the walk...
"I'm going to go out there and smash Pianeta to pieces, make Italian sausage out of him!"
@Tyson_Fury was on top form as he addressed the media in Belfast today 😂
