Uefa have announced that they have received four bids to host the next Women’s Euros in 2025.
The governing body have confirmed that they have obtained offers from France, Poland, Switzerland and a joint bid from Denmark, Finland, Sweden and Norway.

Uefa have stated that their Executive Committee will reveal the successful host(s) on 23 January 2023.
France, Poland and Switzerland have never hosted a Women’s Euros before but France were the entertainers for the most recent Fifa World Cup in 2019.
Each of the nations involved in the Scandinavian and Finnish bid have all experienced hosting international tournaments in the past. Sweden were one of the countries to hold matches for the inaugural 1984 competition, as were Denmark.
Sweden solely hosted the 1995 World Cup and the 2013 European Championships, while they joined forces with Norway to host Euro '97.
Norway held Euro '87 where they went all the way to be crowned the European champions by defeating Sweden 2-1 in the final. Along with Sweden, Norway staged fixtures for the 1995 European Championships.
Euro '91 was held in Denmark and the home nation defeated Italy 2-1 after extra time in the tournament’s third-place play-off. Finland hosted the 2009 European Championships.
Following the success of Euro 2022 in England, there is a lot of expectation for budding tournament holders as the interest in the women’s game continues to grow.
This summer’s Euros saw 365 million tune in to watch matches worldwide while a total of 574,875 from across 104 countries, attended matches. The final between England and Germany at Wembley Stadium, London, broke the attendance record for a European tournament as 87,192 witnessed the Lionesses claim their first international title.
