Caroline Wozniacki has made the final in Singapore after beating Karolina Pliskova 7-6,6-3.
This means that Romania's Simona Halep will end the year as world number one following Pliskova's loss.
Wozniacki will face either Venus Williams or Caroline Garcia who face each other today.
She told the BBC: "That was a little bit crazy. It was a rollercoaster, I'm just happy I got that first set under my belt," said Wozniacki who reached her first final in seven years.
"I've been playing really great tennis this week so to be in the finals, it means a lot to me."
It was a highly competitive game which saw the first set go to a tie-break which the sixth seed came through 11-9, after wasting five consecutive set points.
She showed her class in the second set, outclassing her opponent to win 6-3, making just nine unforced errors to make the final.
