The WTA World Tour Finals continue in Singapore today following yesterday's opening round of matches that saw wins for Garbine Muguruza and Karolina Pliskova.
The season ending tournament on the Women's Tour saw 2017 Wimbledon winner Muguruza make light work of No.7 seed Jelena Ostapenko 6-3, 6-4 on Sunday and she's been made favourite by the bookmakers as a result.
In Sunday's second match, third seed Karolina Pliskova thrashed Venus Williams 6-2, 6-2.
Pliskova will now face Muguruza on Tuesday in the second round of group matches.

Later today, top seed Simon Halep gets her WTA Tour Finals underway against Caroline Garcia followed by Elina Svitlolina versus Caroline Wozniacki.
Halep is fancied to get her Finals off to a winning start against the 8th seed Garcia whilst Svitolina is favourite to see of a resurgent Wosniacki.
