Khabib Nurmagomedov is very much the man of the moment following his victory over Conor McGregor at UFC 229.

The Russian’s profile has soared to staggering new heights, as everyone and anyone debates his next step in the fight game after the fourth round submission of McGregor, and subsequent mass brawl.

In the last week alone Khabib has threatened to quit the UFC, fuelled rumours he could join the company’s rivals Bellator, been linked with WWE, and sensationally called out boxer Floyd Mayweather, who is obviously keen for another huge payday.

The UFC Lightweight Champion has now taken to social media to have his say on the latest dose of speculation concerning a potential multi-million dollar rematch with McGregor - claims which were made by Khabib’s uncle.

UFC President Dana White, who wants to axe a couple of Khabib’s teammates, posted a screenshot on Instagram of a headline which read:

“Khabib Nurmagomedov offered $15 million for rematch with Conor McGregor, turns it down. Will Fight Ferguson And Retire.”

Along with the following caption:

“This story is Number 1 BULLSHIT.”

Khabib was also having absolutely none of it, as he also rubbished the reports, with this reply on the post:

“@danawhite everything went out of control. To much bullshit news”

To be honest no one really knows what is going on at the moment.

Will Khabib stay on at the UFC and duel with McGregor? Or will he copy his Irish foe and venture into the boxing ring against the unbeaten Mayweather? Maybe, he’ll even crop up at Wrestlemania against The Undertaker...
