Khabib Nurmagomedov Talks About Vladimir Putin Phone Call After Astonishing Conor McGregor Mass Brawl
09:50, 07 Oct 2018

Well, it all kicked off in Las Vegas overnight Khabib Nurmagomedov  and Conor McGregor were involved in two major fights.

First, the hated rivals took each other on inside the octagon, which ended in a comfortable victory for the Russian and then the pair and their teams kept the fight going with a crazy mass brawl which erupted in and and outside of the cage.

There were crazy scenes as Khabib jumped over the side of the Octagon to attack various members of the crowd before McGregor was also involved with what looks like people from the Russians team as the event in Las Vegas spiralled out of control.

Khabib was quick to apologise for the events in his post fight presser but he was clearly looking to defend his actions in the face of some stinging attacks from McGregor in the build-up to UFC 229.

"This is not my best side, i'm a human being....He talked about my religion, he talked about my country,he talked about my father."

Khabib was also quick to say he had received a phone call from the President of Russia in the wake of the biggest win of his career.

"(Putin) just called me, he's very proud of me, I win and he said congratulations"

A mention of Putin just about topped of a crazy night at the T Mobile Arena but the fall out won't end there with doubts of Khabib picking up his money for the fight following his actions and also potential suspension coming for the undefeated fighter.

What a night!
