Khabib may have won the fight, but what followed could not only see the Russian stripped of his belt, but also see criminal charges against him and members of his team. Khabib beat Conor McGregor by submission in the fourth round, but the Russian, who had been cool and calm during the build up despite massive provocation from McGregor and his camp in the build up.

Throwing his gum shield, Khabib jumped into the crowd and attacked McGregor's Dylan Danis as chaos ensued. However, whilst all eyes were on Khabib, one of his team shown here in the red shirt jumped into the Octagon and threw a punch at McGregor who had his back to him.

Outspoken boxer Tony Bellew was one of the first to call out Khabib and especially this team-member who jumped the octagon and hit Conor McGregor with a sickening sucker punch.

This coward jumping the cage is a disgrace!

Bellew went on:

Khabib is a disgrace and so are his team!! Dogs and cowards his team are for trying to steal it on Connor! Truly disgusting and I hope Khabib and his people are banned for this! Disgraceful..

Bellew wasn't alone in there sentiments. Fighter Michael Bisping who was covering the fight for UFC thought that Khabibn would struggle to get a visa back into the country once the dust has settled whilst his colleagues also highlighted the knock on effect this could have in Las Vegas on Saturday night as the hostile crowd spilled out onto the strip.

It was a dark day for UFC and for once, Conor McGregor was the victim.
