The Sportsman's 119/1 Weekend Accumulator: Usyk And Navarette On Points

We are back for another jam-packed sporting weekend

Good afternoon and welcome back to another Sportsman’s accumulator where we take a look at where the value could be and compile a four-fold acca which will hopefully win you some money this weekend. With some excellent boxing action set to unfold on Saturday night, we’ve dived into the ring for a couple of picks, taken a look at the EFL on Friday night and made a bold selection from the Betfred Super League.

Let’s get stuck into it.

Norwich City to beat Millwall - Friday 8pm - Simon Lillicrap (19/20)

Millwall have shown incredible resilience over their last two outings. First, they battled back at the Den from 2-0 down against Coventry to win 3-2, before dramatically rescuing a point at Swansea with two goals in injury time. But Gary Rowett’s men haven’t impressed me particularly in either match, and have been fortunate to get a result in both matches. Meanwhile Norwich have dominated teams this season with little reward, but picked up their first win of the season at home against Huddersfield in midweek. I fancy a comfortable home win.

St Helens to beat Hull Kingston Rovers beat 51+ points - Friday 8pm - Kris Voakes (9/1)

Having beaten Hull KR's local rivals Hull FC 60-6 away from home last week, Saints return to the Totally Wicked Stadium this week to host the injury-ravaged Robins. Danny McGuire's visitors are just desperate to reach the season's end without further absences at this point, with Shaun Kenny-Dowall and Greg Richards joining a double-figure list of players currently sitting out with injuries. Against that backdrop, this ought to be a stroll for the champions, who will be looking to edge ever-nearer another League Leaders' shield title.

Oleksandr Usyk to beat Anthony Joshua via decision - Saturday 9pm - Joey Mills (2/1)

Repeat or revenge? I’m going with an encore performance from the brilliant WBA, WBO and IBF champion. ‘AJ’ will make it a tighter fight this time, but boxers like Usyk come around once or twice in a generation. The unbeaten Ukrainian comes into this fight stronger at the weight and will have too much for Joshua over the twelve-round distance.

Emanuel Navarette to beat Eduardo Baez by points - Saturday 1am - Kieran Spratt (21/20)

Usyk/Joshua isn't the only fight this weekend and I think there's some decent value to be found over in the States when Emanuel Navarrete defends his WBO featherweight title against Eduardo Baez. At 1/16, Navarette is the clear favourite but his fellow Mexican Baez is no pushover and with ten months out of the ring, he’ll no doubt have some ring rust to blow off. Baez hasn’t been stopped in his pro career and while Navarette has a fearsome reputation as a puncher, I think there’s some serious value in the challenger going the distance.

Four-fold accumulator pays 119/1 with Betfred
