The Ryder Cup is just four weeks away and on Tuesday night, Jim Furyk will be the first to show his hand as he announces the first three of his four wildcard picks at 10pm BST.
The American captain's job was made all the easier when Bryson DeChambeau won back to back titles on the PGA Tour on Monday, with the rookie expected to be one of those named by Furyk.
In a team which only has one rookie in Justin Thomas, it's widely thought that Furyk will announce DeChambeau along with veterans Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods, before he announces a fourth wildcard pick on Sunday night following the BMW Championship. Tony Finau looks to be in the boxset for that final pick.
Thomas Bjorn will announce all four of his wildcard picks at 2pm on Wednesday, with the bookies making the experienced quartet of Ian Poulter, Henrik Stenson, Paul Casey and Sergio Garcia as odds on shots to be called up. Three time winner on tour this season Matt Wallace will be unlucky to miss out on a place whilst Rafa Cabrera Bello is in far better form that his countryman Sergio Garcia.
Perhaps Bjorn thinks he needs some experience in the side. The Americans have been steadily backed in all summer, now an 8/13 chance and although Paris National will be suited to the home side, Jim Furyk has a formidable group of players at his disposal, with only a few possible chinks in their armour.
Stick with us throughout the evening as we await Furyk's announcement.
