High winds were a major factor in round three of the CJ Cup in South Korea on Saturday, with just ten out of 77 players shooting under par.
Justin Thomas was one of those players, hauling himself back up to nine under par for the tournament with a two under par round of 70. The round was all the more impressive given he double bogeyed the par four 8th hole. The main point to take from Thomas's round however was how he decided to use a wedge to chip in a three-footer to avoid putting over some badly spiked green.
Sharing the third round lead with Thomas is American Scott Brown who carded a 71 to go with his 66 and 70 from the first two rounds whilst Marc Leishman remains in the hunt two shots off the lead on seven under par.
Second round leader Luke List slumped to a four over par 76 which saw him topple down the leaderboard in a tie for eighth place.
