Another remarkable afternoon in the Tour De France with Nairo Quintana claiming the Queen stage of the race in stunning style.
The Colmbian burst clear of the peleton on the final climb to give himself a famous victory but it is Geraint Thomas who remains in charge of the overall classification.
The Welshman picked up more time on a number of his major rivals back in 3rd place on the day with Chris Froome the big loser as he lost time to his team mate and Tom Dumoulin.
The race is far from over but Thomas is in pole position and looking very strong as he looks for his first victory in a grand tour.
A remarkable stage 9 in the Tour De France this afternoon with John Degenkolb taking the win in the sprint.
