Pride month is just around the corner and while there are plenty of outlets scrambling to attach a rainbow to absolutely anything to drive a spike in sales, some brands are paving the way for considered, inspiring and bespoke additions to their labels. Leading the charge are adidas and New Balance who have delivered the rainbow palette in a swath of bright colours across their respective pride pack collections...

Already bulging with goodies, the Adidas 20/20 sneaker collection includes Pride colorways on the Stan Smith, the Superstar and the NMD_R1 - even the trusty Adilette gets a makeover. The one that’s got our attention however is the latest addition, the UltraBoost S&L, with its clever rainbow integration of six colours (red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple) and the insole script which says simply: “We are proud and unapologetic, and we encourage you to be the same. Love unites.”

 327 Pride, £80

New Balance have put together the New Balance 327 pack and tucked in amongst the tees and sliders resides the 327, the sneaker that has always felt more at home in darker dad-friendly colours of brown and tan and is now an explosion of white, green, orange purple and pink that really accentuate the oversize logo on the side and the small heart shaped NB logo on the tongue. The insoles also have “love since 1906” and the tongue holder is pure rainbow.
