Reebok have produced some absolute gems over the years. From the Classics to the Shaq Attack, we have loved watching some of the finest sneakers in the game roll off the production line of the manufacturer. Now we could be looking at the next big thing.

Reebok have combined forces with Bape, or Bathing Ape, the Japanese clothing brand that has been making waves worldwide since 1993. This isn’t the first collaboration between the two, we have seen the Bape Black x Reebok Aztrek 96 and Electrolyte 97 in recent times, but we think it is the best to date.

Previewed by global megastar The Weeknd and Reebok’s Leo Gamboa, the new ‘Bapesta’ Bape x Reebok Club C has arrived and it is a beauty. The shoes will rely heavily on the classic Club C’s traditional white leather upper (who doesn’t love those) with panelling and stitching slightly reworked.

The most obvious feature is Bathing Ape’s phenomenal star motif, that adorns the side of the shoe. They look so fresh yet that star brings a brilliant touch of class to the sneaker. Available in four canvas camouflage patterns (red, blue, green and purple if you’re interested), it brings this shoe to life and ties together the entire artwork. The tongue is where the ape head logo sits while Reebok’s vector logo finds itself on the heel.

The balance between Bape and Reebok seems to have been perfectly weighed up on this pair. The logo is not garish but instead provides life and soul into the trainers while the white Reebok leather is the perfect backdrop to build from.

The release date is yet to be determined, but they are on their way, likely to be dropped in early 2021. What a way to kick off the new year in style.
