The world waits expectantly when a tornado meets a volcano. But what happens when you get to wear something that seems to summon that explosive reaction? Well, now you can get the fallout on your feet.
Six-time NBA All-Star Kyrie Irving, of the Brooklyn Nets, has helped unite a pair of unique legends, each taken from life far too soon, but of whom left irreplaceable legacies that will be treasured for many years to come.

A positive note in a sh*t 2020, The Bruce Lee and The Kobe Bryant are homaged once again, in the Nets point guard’s latest signature shoe.
The OG mixed martial arts superstar, and the late Laker are referenced in different ways with the ‘Bruce Lee’ Nike Kyrie 6. Whilst the action hero and pioneer is more overt in the two-style shoe, Bryant’s acknowledgment is more subtle but nevertheless profound.

The “Mamba Mentality” Kyrie 3 back in 2017 donned the iconic yellow, black, and red colour combination that is used here, albeit in different proportions, with the 2020 output blending the unreleased Kyrie 3 red "Bruce Lee" sample. This particular new sneaker is covered in red with black accents, with a standout feature being the yellow "blood" embroidery across the Swoosh. The heavy black is found on the heel piece, liners, tongues, midfoot strap, Swoosh and sole unit, while golden yellow plays the smallest, yet most noticeable role on the lateral claw marks. These slashes on the side evoke Bruce’s iconic look in the finale of his magnum opus ‘Enter the Dragon’ when he’s sliced by the devious Mr Han in the room of mirrors (don’t worry, he gets his own back).

In addition to the red pair the "Bruce Lee" Nike Kyrie 6 has surfaced in a black-based colourway. The eye-catching ensemble is expected to arrive this Autumn in both a Comet Red/Black-Metallic Silver-Del Sol Black/White-Del Sol-Gym Red with a hyped price of $140 USD.
Thanks to yet another fruitful collaboration between Nike and Irving, you’ll be able to feel just a smidgen of the majesty that both Bruce and Bryant brought to their everyday lives.
