These are ideal for when we finally get back outdoors

As you know we love the retro look here at The Sportsman and the good news is that it’s all the rage as we begin the 2020s. Penfield are the latest brand to smash it out of the park with a nod back to the past with their Spring Summer pieces.

With its heritage placed firmly in the great USA outdoors, the American outwear makers have delved into their archives to reproduce their rich history of geometric prints.

Which is good news, because let’s be honest, while we’re living in these uncertain and crazy times, we are all focusing on getting back out there this summer. And when we do venture out, we don’t want to be wearing last year’s moth-eaten options from the back of the draw. We want to stand out and this is where Penfield designs step in.

With hints of pastels and colour blocked styles, the patterns make for some truly impressive designs on these new pieces.

Packable, lightweight and practical outwear has always been a Penfield design focus and this time, the refreshed version of their pacjac fits the bill. Naturally durable and wind resistant, these pieces are breathable, and ideal for Spring.

Established in Hudson, Massachusetts, back in 1975 by New England native Harvey Goss, the company continues to set trends and keep-up-to-date with the latest styles while giving a nod to the past.

Plus, as spring switches to summer, Penfield also boast high quality t-shirts, caps, shorts… you name it, they’ve got you covered when it’s time to open the door and venture back out into sunlight.
