When you think of Vans, one thing comes to mind. You can do anything and go anywhere. Skating, night out, walk in the park. You could wear the same pair of shoes for the lot and that’s what’s made them so loveable. But now, Vans have taken durability to the very next level.
The North Face’s All-Weather MTE collection has two new members and they are seriously tough. The clue is in the name - made for any weather. Forget your old clunky walking boots, these are so stylish you can still use them anywhere, for anything - in the truest style of Vans.

The two new boys on the block, the Sk8-Hi MTE 2.0 DX and the UltraRange EXO Hi MTE, feature moisture management to stop sweaty feet, heat retention to prevent frostbite and extra grip - add the three together and they’re ideal for mountain climbing. These truly are go anywhere shoes.

The Sk8-Hi is tailored for skateboarding but can thrive anywhere from the halfpipe to the hills. It features a weatherproof upper equipped with both tongue and heel pulls making them strong, but easy to slip on and off. Meanwhile, a reinforced rubber toe cap adds robustness and durability while an UltraCush sock liner and achilles cushioning keeps your feet warm and supported all day long. Shoes that are this strong shouldn’t look this good.

As for the UltraRange EXO, these are the ultimate heat-retaining shoes, perfect for those upcoming winter walks. Featuring an extra heat retention layer and a warmth lining, you could take your toes to the top of Mount Everest and they’d still be toasty.
Vans, turns out they really are good for everything.
Vans Sk8-Hi MTE 2.0 DX (£100) and UltraRange EXO Hi MTE (£105) are available now at select Vans retailers and Vans.eu.
