As Calvin Harris sang, “I’ve got love for you if you were born in the 80s” and, wow, have we got love for this 80s-inspired The North Face collection?

The outdoor sports brand has reintroduced Extreme, which shattered the classic style of in-resort skiing more than thirty years ago.

First introduced in 1988 to meet the needs of pinnacle athletes that were progressing the sport, Extreme performed at the highest level and looked like nothing on the mountain. Now, the design lines are reimagined as streetwear.

Retro, bright and eye-catching, it sums up a moment in time way back when that fits seamlessly into this new, Twenty Twenties look.

Ushering in a look from the era of athletes seeking bigger mountains, performing gutsier moves and featuring more style than ever, thrill-seekers of today will look the part of those who led the way before them.

Celebrating the OG big-mountain skiers of the 80s, there’s a little love for the 90s thrown-in for good measure.

Extreme pays homage to that desire to break the mold and reimages the off-piste must-have for the city while also including the ’90 EXTREME WIND SUIT, the tough-as-hell backpack and a breathable, quick-drying cap which sheds water for all your extreme exploration

Founded in 1966 with the goal of preparing outdoor athletes for the rigors of their next adventure, The North Face is now the world’s leading outdoor brand, creating athlete-tested, expedition-proven products that help people explore and test the limits of human potential.

Available this month, make sure you had this latest collection to your active wardrobe.
