Levi’s And New Balance Reunite For A Delightful Denim-Laden Collection

The 327 capsule takes its inspiration New Balance’s original running trainer which launched in 1978

Levi’s have been delivering denim of the highest quality for a whopping 147 years, while New Balance have been titans of the footwear industry for 114 - now, these two powerhouses of their respective industries are teaming up for the second time in a year to bring us the delightfully denim-laden Levi’s x New Balance 327 Collection.

The 327s, a three shoe collection, take their inspiration from the 320, New Balance’s OG running trainer which launched in 1978, and was the first to feature their famous “N” insignia. The outer of these sneakers are entirely denim (Well, duh!) and suede and leather make up the insides. The capsule comes in navy, indigo and white or navy, white and grey colourways for men, whilst the women’s gets a grey, sky-blue and white offering. And yes, that same waffle sole that was used in the 1970s takes its place at the bottom of these 2020 updates.

As well as the sneakers, the collection also includes a reversible trucker jacket in the matching colour schemes as well as a graphic t-shirt. The trucker jacket comes with one classic denim side reflecting Levi’s, and another takes the form of a reimagined quilted New Balance-designed side.
